  ***response to Elephants trunk*** Thank you for the response back so quick but YES absolutely sure the correct store. (We literally come almost weekly to add to my daughter's collections)... and was standing outside the store when I wrote it. (After informing the two girls working how disappointing it was that was the policy and i was going to leave a review and got a "OOOOOK"...); one of them being the same one we had trouble with lasttime when she sold us the incorrect/more expensive toy). AGAIN we absolutely understand polices and how people may try and exchange or return when they didnt get what they expected but defective/damaged shouldn't count when its a standard toy you always stock and not a close-out or something (and YES i showed it to her, the two issues etc)..... highly disappointing and sounds like you need to talk to your employees about policies.... Sadly will never go back, they do not back there products! Like opened it up IN the store and found it was bad and they said "sorry all sales final"... which i get for everything BUT defective... and we spend WAY more money here weekly then I like to admit but this time happened to just be a little $8 toy... and again I get it for everything BUT defective... there second response was "well you can drive back in here monday and talk to management"... again dont live IN eugene so not driving back for a "maybe"... didn't want a refund, just a exchange for one that didn't start out ruined and discolored.... her entire team goes here for these toys and im going to make sure the parents understand how they "stand behind" there customers.... (not our 1st issue here, lasttime the same sales clerk grabbed us the wrong style off the shelf which cost more then the one we wanted and after we paid for all 4 toys we noticed it, again while still in store and asked if we could exchange the unopened one for the CORRECT one and told her we didnt even want a refund for the difference, and was told NOPE... even though it was HER mistake...) never again.

  I bought a Schleich toy that was supposed to be 50% off but they refused to give me the discount and the clerk was very rude and was ignoring us when we needed help

  This place is very over priced. The staff has not been friendly the few times I was in a pinch looking for a gift. I'd go elsewhere.
