Fast forward to now (early 2024) when I left my glasses in the car overnight and somehow frigid temps caused one lens to shatter. I was afraid I was sunk but I searched for sunglass in my email and found that I had my emailed receipt where I had purchased the protection plan. It was a 13-month plan and I was only a few weeks away from the end, but how lucky I was. The store rep checked out the email receipt and also helped me find the pro plan by searching for my phone number in their system. I found a replacement pair and paid significantly less than if I had to buy them at full regular price. And I found the replacement pair also has a manufacturer warranty for a year or two. I'm so happy with my investment a year ago.
