- BMBrandi MeeksJun 7, 20262.0I went in to return some items from an online order and the experience was much more difficult than it needed to be. I was initially sent to a different register because I was told that “no receipt returns” had to be handled there, even though this was not a no-receipt return. It was an online order. Once I got to the other register, I was repeatedly questioned about not having a receipt. I explained multiple times that it was an online order and that the order number and phone number could be used to look it up. The employee had to enter the information several times before it finally worked. Then a manager came over and pointed out that they don’t carry the item I was returning. When I asked if that affected the return, she said no, but continued bringing it up anyway. After about 10 minutes, I finally received my refund. The return was ultimately completed, but the entire process felt unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. A simple online return should not take that much time or require that much back-and-forth.
