  I was cleaning out my book collect and had lots of military books that I didn't need any more. I had about fifteen in total. Mostly some covers but there was a pretty good amount of hard covers. I took then in and they said come back in about thirty mins so they had a chance to go through them. I returned about thirty mins latter and they made their offer. Twenty five cents was the offer. I thought i misheard then. I said what? Again they said twenty five cents. I stood there for a few seconds waiting for the guy to say I was getting puked. But nothing. So I said ok thanks and gathered up my books and left. My books were all in good shape and just can't figure out why only twenty five cents. Oh well. It is what it is. I will be back to buy but not sell

  Almost heaven for book lovers. This location has an amazingly friendly staff to match the tidy/organized shelves.

  I don't dislike the place and find books I like often but they don't always discount books as much as they should especially since they will give you 5 bucks for like 30 books even if some are worth like 50 new on their own. I understand making profits but they will scam you without remorse and call if profits. Give your books to people who will enjoy them for free or put them in a little library. Don't sell to Half Price unless you literally don't care that they're going to charge more than 10 times what they pay you for all of your stuff. Again good selection but selling to them is something I'm learning not to do as it's never even afforded me more than one cheap paperback from them for every 20 to 30 books I dont want anymore.
