  I am writing to share some disappointing feedback regarding my recent experience at the J.Crew Factory location at The Town Center at Levis Commons in Perrysburg, Ohio. My family and I have been loyal J.Crew customers for years, but due to the poor leadership we witnessed, we will no longer shop at this specific location. When we arrived, the floor associates were vibrant and welcoming. However, we noticed that the previous managers—specifically two managers with long dark hair who always ensured we had an excellent experience and helped us with our rewards credit card—were no longer there. During our visit, which lasted about an hour, the Store Director finally came out to the sales floor. At this time, there was a long line at the registers that the associates were working hard to manage. Instead of offering assistance or opening another register, the Store Director simply stood by and repeatedly folded a single t-shirt. As the store grew busier, the associates continued to do a wonderful job managing the line and checking on customers in the fitting rooms. Meanwhile, the Store Director remained occupied with the same shirt. After another 20 minutes, we overheard the Store Director say loudly to an associate, “Do the customers think I’m fat or ugly or something? Nobody is coming up to me.” I found this comment highly unprofessional and inappropriate, especially since she made no effort to approach or assist any customers herself. While my family and I still love J.Crew products, we will be taking our business to a different location moving forward. I hope this feedback is shared with regional management to improve the leadership and service at this store.

  Had the best experience at this location-employees are all so kind and did whatever they could to help assist us with our return! Will definitely be shopping here again.

  First time visiting the Perrysburg store after moving to Ohio; no greeting, no assistance, and no promotions explained. Tops were marked with identical “70% off” signs, but only one color rang up at that discount. Very confusing. Supervisor Jennifer was unclear, dismissive, and rude when I asked for clarification. Because of this negative interaction, I decided not to open a J.Crew credit card. Manager Samantha was professional, kind, and de-escalated the situation—she’s the reason I’d return. Please coach your supervisors to be professional and polite to your customers in it educate them on how to explain questions without getting frustrated with customers. Please update and clarify your signage. Identical items with different prices under the same promotion is misleading.
