This was my first time being in the store and I can say I did not have a good experience. Walked into the store with my mom and there were two girls at the counter and neither one said hello and didn't even acknowledged us but said hello to other people that walked in after us. At that moment I felt like they were kinda being racist and judgemental. We continued walking around the store and my mom went up to the counter to look at the stuff they had on display and I looked up to see one of the girls giving us a mean look and just being rude and not really acknowledging us again. I think the store was nice but obviously the employees are highly rude and lack customer service and because of that I did not buy anything due to the lack of attitude. It seems like the manager does not seem to care either due to the constant negative reviews. I will not be coming back to this specific location and I will go to the other ones where I will be greeted nicely and not met with nasty and racist attitudes.

After reading several negative reviews of not just this store, but Plato's Closet in general, I was naturally very hesitant about trying to sell my good clothing here. I was pleasantly
surprised by first the welcome and acknowledgement of me as a customer and then I was told that the wait time for my items would be about 1 hour. I took the time to browse around the store and try on multiple shoes. This store in North Olmsted has a great selection of clothes and shoes to choose from, and the prices were very reasonable. When it was time for my offer, Madelynne, Milla, and Arianna all spoke with me and took great care and time thoughtfully and thoroughly going through all my. Items. They use the website GOAT to determine the value of your items. And, even though not everything was accepted due to some wear or not as trendy, I was presented with a significant cash offer which was a very fair value considering where I was trying to sell.
Overall, my experience was that the staff Madelynne, Milla, and Arianna are friendly, very proficient, and helpful. I've been to many, many consignment stores but, North Olmsted Plato's Closet definitely stands head and shoulders above all of the rest!
I wouldn't trust my valuables to anybody else because of their honesty and integrity I totally and completely recommend North Olmsted Plato's Closet!!

Super weird, the whole store was full of clothes that were stained and worn out but denied every piece of my clothing saying that there were stains and worn out ??? lol my pieces still have tags 😭😭 just confused as to why everyone else was told their items weren’t taken bc of the store being full and my reason was because my clothes were stained and worn and torn when there’s not a single stain on there??? Idk just felt super strange when I’m the only person selling who gets told their clothes have stains and torn when there’s nothing on there I mean all of these clothes are new.
