  from the moment you walk in the door they are trying to get you to sign up for their credit card. Then the time share guys in the back won’t take no thank you for an answer.

  Edit - Owner requested my info, I provided it. No reply. Terrible experience with the firearm department. Nothing like accusing a club member who is also a veteran of a straw purchase, loudly, in front of other customers. No follow-up communication and staff not even checking the delay status of my order. I have never been delayed, ever, and certainly not for this long (over 1 week) Completely unprofessional. I will not be making any further purchases at Bass Pro and will be canceling my Club Membership. For Shame.

  Take your business elsewhere! Disappointing first (and last) experience from start to finish. I was badgered and harangued about credit cards and memberships right at the door, with a turnstile there to stop you. The gun counter staff were hovering, pushy, and unhelpful. After turning down a display gun they were heavily pushing, they brought out another model that was supposed to be new. Instead, the box seal was broken, the packaging was mangled, and the slide had scratches near the sights as if someone had tried mounting an optic. Their only response was, "That’s the only one we have. I left and went to Fin Feather Fur Outfitters, where I bought two firearms. Despite being packed with customers, the team at Fin Feather Fur was attentive, welcoming, and sold me untouched, sealed-in-box firearms. Bass Pro made an awkward ordeal out of having just two firearms out at once, pulling in a second salesperson to hover over me. Fin Feather Fur gladly set three side-by-side, let me compare and dry-fire them comfortably without rushing, and noted they hear that exact complaint about Bass Pro regularly.

  Even though I literally just sat down in front of the store to finish a job application I was filling out online, the woman who they had giving away hats and cups in the front of the store was an excellent sales and customer service professional. She smiled at me, which drew me into what she was doing- then, as I walked up to her, she asked me if I was interested in learning more. She had me sold at smile, but she was so elegantly persuasive and natural at what she was saying that I truly wanted to hear more. So I applied for the credit card and she even persuaded me into the store to buy something! I feel like such a turd for not getting her name, however, she is an absolute force to be reckoned with- because of her attentive customer service skills and polite mannerisms, I will definitely be returning to Bass Pro Shops again soon. Thank you so much for making my day!! OH & GIVE THIS WOMAN A PROMOTION, PLEASE!! 💯
