I usually don’t write reviews especially negative ones but my recent experience at this store (which I usually love) has completely changed. I have been a faithful customer of Plato’s Closet Mentor for over 10 years. I remember when they were at their first location and then moved. I’m usually there in the mornings and I often have a great experience. The employees are so nice and greet me. I often encounter a young lady who is very nice and welcoming. I believe she said she was the assistant manager there. We often have a lovely conversation about her long beautiful black curls and dimples. She even offered me water once when I couldn’t get rid of a cough I had. Anyways I had to go later than usual in the evening around 5 earlier this week. This was a completely different store. Not only was I waiting at the counter for almost 15 minutes before ever being acknowledged but the young ladies were extremely rude and unprofessional. I heard swearing, inappropriate language and then just sitting and eating. When I asked how long I would have to wait she said about an 20mins. I waited an hour before by name was called. In addition to this I also heard a very inappropriate conversation amongst the young ladies boasting about how they didn’t pay for things and simply took them from the store. I was appalled to say the least. I asked to speak with the manager and they said she wasn’t available. Once I left I called the store to see if I can report the inappropriate conversation I had heard between the young ladies but there was no answer. I am truly disappointed with this. I loved this store but have a hard time believing I will ever return.

I brought a basket of items to sell. They only bought one item and told me it was because my items were all "misses" items. Since when are Rag & Bone, Free People, Hollister, Vans, American Eagle Outfitters, Aeropostale and Urban Outfitters for older ladies? Just because I'm old, doesn't mean the items I source are all for old ladies. I should have read the reviews before wasting my time. I drove over to the other location and sold more.

No bathrooms here. Use one before you go. The staff was so incredibly rude.My daughter had to use the bathroom in the middle of a shopping and they said that we could go across the street .So we just left. We went to the mall.

This was my first experience, walking into the store to sell some items. I was greeted by a team of nice young ladies when I entered the store. They were all kind, helpful and very polite. I highly recommend selling your teen clothing items at this store.
