- CSChimney SweepOct 12, 20241.0Update: I was in Liberty Township and decided to stop into Sunglass Hut again to check out a new pair of Oakleys. Of course, they were in the process of being robbed AGAIN!!!! The employee explained that this is the second time this month. The mall & sheriff's department won't do anything about it. the employee followed the same group of females that robbed the store last month. The same group robbed the store again !!! the Sheriff's Department was called and provided with the license plate make and model of the car, the sheriff caught up to the vehicle, The vehicle ended up crossing the county line and the deputy sheriff disengaged his Pursuit!! the word has gotten out, and every criminal element is targeting Liberty Township. Mall, the mall will not hire additional security. That means there's no security!!! Sunglass Hut has been robbed over 10 times in a year's time. The manager, Devin, was polite, very professional & informative about the products he sells. Only complain with Liberty Township!!! Security should be increased because of the numerous thefts and bad actors visiting our community!!
