- RSRyan P SmithJun 16, 20261.0I purchased sunglasses with a warranty. I went in for a repair and was offered a replacement pair. No problem. The replacement pair do not fit me so I went back within a matter of hours to replace. They state that replacement sales are final. However the receipt says I have 30 days. Days later they emailed me an “internal procedure” intended for thier internal use only saying sales are final. However no policy terms intended for customer shows this. In fact the only document they provide me is a receipt clearly stating that I can exchange them. The manager doesn’t understand the difference between internal procedures vs a published policy that describes the terms of an agreement. See ChatGPT for differences between procedure and policy. They are not the same and have totally different intended audiences. I was told in the store that I was taking too much of their time and made to feel like I was a bother when I was truly asking for policy terms that reflected what they were enforcing. They told me my only option was to sell them on market place. lol. I’d like to speak with the regional manager but the store refuses to provide me contact info. They just say they forwarded my concern. Next they will hear from an attorney and likely beginning a class action suit for failing to properly disclose in their terms and conditions policy for customers that all replacement glasses sales are final.
