  No air conditioning and the store is filthy. They have floor fans on top floor just blowing all the dirt around. I feel terrible for the employees working in this hot mess. Unacceptable.

  Insanely hot in the store! Had to be at least 80 degrees. I am pregnant and had to leave the store because I almost passed out. Fix the a/c, get temporary a/c units or close until it's fixed. Very dangerous for certain people and unacceptable as other stores had temporary units in store.

  Update: After speaking with the district manager, Martin, I’m even more concerned. While he apologized, I was told that because the associate, Maxine has worked there for a long time, he doubts “she would say that.” That response felt dismissive of my experience instead of addressing my concerns. It is evident that there is a dire need for customer satisfaction training. As a woman of color, I encourage other people of color to be aware of this location and to shop with caution. I’m very thankful for the random stranger that brought those hateful remarks to my attention. Today I visited the Polaris location with my two children. While waiting to check out, another customer rudely stepped in front of us in line. Instead of creating a scene, I chose to leave that line and use the children’s checkout since I was mainly purchasing clothes for my kids. I appreciated that the next associate that helped us was very kind and attentive. However, while I was actively checking out, another customer that was shopping, approached me in front of the cashier and stated the other associate from the first counter believed I was stealing and that I “must not have wanted to wait and pay” for my items. I was completely shocked and humiliated by this accusation, especially because it was made within earshot of my two young children. There was absolutely no reason for Maxine to make this accusation when there’s other counters to check-out at. My family’s nice shopping trip turned to an experience filled with hate and unfortunately my young children had to witness this and we’ll have to have a serious talk about shopping while black. After completing my purchase of over $500, I spoke briefly with a manager to report what had occurred. I have also contacted corporate because I believe this incident deserves further attention. I sincerely hope this matter is addressed with Maxine so that no other customer or family has to experience the same humiliation. This was an extremely disappointing end to what was supposed to be a pleasant Friday afternoon with my children.

  They keep the doors to the mall closed, I’m assuming in an effort to get you to shop there but it just makes it difficult, now that I’m done there, I have to get in my car and drive around to the mall entrance just to shop… a hassle
