Well, we were new to this place and found it difficult to figure out at first. We weren't sure what we wanted and no one was there to assist. They were in a corner clustered together chatting, like alot of them. Once we finally realized that we had to order from a kiosk, yuck btw! (I've been to a lot of dispensaries and I've ALWAYS had someone ask me if I needed assistance.) We needed help!! Anyway, we just ordered something, went through the ENTIRE kiosk process just to find out that we still had to go to the register to order because the kiosk didnt place orders for cash!! UGH...we got our products and left.
The cashier even spoke with another customer and not us until she was ready for the money. Dont get me wrong the product sells itself but customer service is still a necessity.

Arrived there on a whim with my fiancée, never having visited a dispensary. We were a little nervous but were immediately put at ease by the kindness and smiling faces of the staff. They have a good selection at ok prices. The staff was extremely helpful and if I had any issues they were right there. I ordered my items and was given them at the counter and was finished in no more than 5 minutes total. Would very much recommend them.

Really nice dispensary with a chill and fresh vibe. Staff were friendly, and Jahneisha was awesome! We are visiting from out of town, and she was so sweet asking how our trip to Cincinnati has been! Would definitely recommend, and will return if we come back to the area

I had another great experience at Ascend! I placed an online order, and it was ready for pickup when I arrived. Even though the dispensary was extremely busy, Paige still greeted me with a smile and was incredibly friendly. She took the time to go over my order with me, answered my questions, and made sure I had everything I needed before I left.
One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back to Ascend is because of the consistently great staff. Every visit has been a positive experience, and everyone is welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. Paige definitely made a busy day feel easy, and I really appreciate the excellent customer service!
The product I purchased is great no problems there, but also nothing "special". I would suggest saving your self the massive headache this place causes though, literally any other cincinnati dispo trumps this place by a margin, from set up, to functionality, to the price gouging.
But here was my experience:
This dispo is a prime example of the ridiculous, shameful, capitalistic greed the ohio cannabis market has been built around, thanks ohio politics. This place has a good sized parking lot attached was mostly empty, plus a giant lot right across the street (also mostly empty). They have signs in the attached parking lot that say "medical patients only", the parking lot had MANY open spots, mind you lol. I was confused unpon arrival plus the location is weird so I pulled into the lot, parked and saw the signs, but clearly misinterpreted them. The moment I opened the door to the dispo I was met with "are you a medical patient?" Not hi or welcome. I was then told that I needed to move my car across the street and walk back in. The amount of open parking spots in the attached lot and being told to move my vehicle was ridiculous, and dangerous with no crosswalk. This was the first red flag of greed "wanna park here? Spend hundreds of dollars for a fake doctor to exploit you for a now LEGAL recreation" or be inconvenienced as punishment. I sat my ego aside since I already made the trip, and moved my vehicle. I walked back across the street and back into the store. I had an online order I placed way in advance but still had to wait in line for 15-20 minutes. While waiting I noticed the few cashiers they did have were doing everything in their power to sell people anything and everything they could, obviously more greed based sales tactics pushed onto employees by their obviously greedy business owners "or else". Meanwhile there are what I assume to be managers? Or other employees literally just walking around doing nothing, talking to people, and watching. Meanwhile the line continues to grow as I am waiting. The employees working the counter were great and have been successfully programmed to meet the requirements of the job. But this place gives HARD black and white McDonalds vibes. Management should be supportive and stepping up when long lines form, a cross walk NEEDS to be added if you are going to be that level of petty to have people immediately moving their vehicles the second they open the door to the store, again extremely unnecessary when the lot is empty, this only serves one purpose, which is to administer punishment for not spending more money. I will not be back here, it was not worth the trouble, I wanted to check out a new place, and I am glad I did.
SIDE RANT: I genuinely hope the people of ohio get fed up with this disgusting display of greed and investment and fight to have a more free reasonable market, this is NOT ok yall' we NEED to do better.
