I love to shop there, but not to sell. The prices they offer for used items, is ridiculous. I went in with a 200 shoulder bag, Gilda Paris, in addition to a nearly new 230.00 pair of ON and a new pair of Converse. They offered $18. I left. 😂

These are the rudest group of girls that work in this store. The girl at the counter was real lucky I didn’t feel like catching an assault charge from the way she talked to my daughter.

I came into Platos Closet today and a woman with darker hair was checking me out… I believe her name was Layne, she was very disrespectful towards me and told me that you guys were sold out of bags but then the person next to me proceeded to buy a plastic bag for 10 cents? So I asked if i could do the same and she proceeded to explain to me how they are not supposed to sell them, and rolled her eyes. Along with that whole situation she was just giving me dirty looks and just giving very mean girl vibes.

I had a really great experience at Plato’s Closet! When I came in, it was very busy and the line was about 8 people long. I think I came in right during rush hour because a bunch of people walked in around the same time, lol. Even though it was busy and a little overwhelming the staff stayed calm and professional, which honestly helped me feel more at ease too. I dropped a couple items off at the counter for pricing, and Ava H. helped me. She specifically told me there were two Avas working, so I wanted to make sure I mentioned the right one. The other Ava was also very helpful too. They were so delightful, friendly, and Ava H had a big smile on her face, which made the experience feel so much better. I also saw a customer get upset/rude for being inpatient, which was stressful to witness, but the employees handled it really well and de-escalated the situation calmly. I’m not sure of their names, but one girl had short hair and glasses and the other had long brown hair. They both did a great job. Overall, the staff were great, I left feeling better than when I walked in, and I got a good deal on my two items. Whatever they’re making, double it, because it would be tragic to lose staff like this. Definitely recommend!

I brought items in Friday evening May 8th around 6:30pm. I go there to pick them up Saturday morning May 9th around 9:30am. I go in and give my name. The worker located my passes but wasn’t able to locate the items they wanted to purchase. The worker then looked to see what items they purchased and he said I see it’s a Lululemon purse and a few other things. I said yes but where are my items? The worker said wait is this the purse and I said yes that’s it… it was in a bin to be put out with no tag attached… the other workers look on the hanging rack and sees my clothes hanging there again not tagged. By this point I was upset and said just give me my items. I will go to another Plato’s that is more careful with my stuff. The workers acted like it was no big deal that they couldn’t find my items and then they were ready to be put out without me cashing out first. Today… I just felt the customer service was terrible.
