I honestly used to love this store. It would take some hunting, but you could definitely find some deals. However the prices have become absolutely INSANE. I went in today and just basic sweaters were priced at $20. Like, I can get a new sweater for less than $20 at TJ Maxx or Marshall’s. And even though they had blue tags on sale for $1.50 if the price was under $15, I didn’t find a single blue tags item under $15. I walked out without buying anything. It was truly not the vibe.

People just have to understand this isn’t a thrift store like goodwill. There donations for the most part do not come from people driving up with bags and donating them. Yes they do it, but they have a supplier they buy in bulk by. So most of the clothes in there are coming from a business deal and or a transaction, not solely donations. Therefore, it’s not a thrift store. It is a consignment store that doesn’t buy from the public so you’re paying resale shop prices due to them buying the inventory they provide. Also could be better if they understood resale pricing. They know it’s expensive that’s why if you see a 200 dollar price tag and then come back in a month, that same item is now 150 dollars. They’re seeing what’s the max someone will pay for it. But to sum this up…yes you’re thrifting but it’s not a thrift store in the traditional sense. It’s a consignment that prioritizes profit and corporate gains. Once you understand that, you know what you’re walking into.
