There was a false violation and I had to go in and get the device reset. The shop owner said it himself that he was there when the false violation happened and he said he could wave the $55 but had to charge $25 for his time. Was charged 25$ by the shop because of faulty equipment from life safer. I contacted life safer customer service and they said they couldn’t refund the fee because the shop charged it and not them. I told them 3 times he charged that because of a false violation from their faulty equipment and customer service still refused to refund me the $25.
And I spent 45 minutes this morning humming into their device I kept at it because I didn’t want to get a fee for not testing. It made me late going in for an appointment. I hate this device with a passion. The shop owner is cool but I’m taking my business elsewhere because the added stress and money taken from me is too much of a hassle.
