Where do i start, very unhappy with the management team at this store. I waited the first day 30-40 min just for assistance at the gun counter. Asked the employee if they could price match a pistol that has been discontinued and sitting unsold for over 1000 days since 2023. He referred me to the manager in charge that day. The manager agreed and we shook on a price that was about 40% off msrp price matched to the same pistol but different sku # online at sportsmans but OOS.
I then completed the backround check, got the call to pick up the following day. When i arrive to pick up (this time not busy at all) i proceed to the first employee working the gun counter. Go through the hassle of confirming info, and 4473 form. At point of payment the price was full price. I only purchased the pistol and shook on the pricematched price (which was noted on the box by manager). The employee then pulled in that days manager that wanted me to pull up the sportmans link online, this store has no cell reception and weak wifi. Had to walk around for 15 min to find reception to even pull up the website link. Once i got the link opened, they manager told me it wasnt the same pistol (which is was, just a different sku # for different mag capacity).
They then pulled in the final manger who tells me he cant do the pricematch, after taking another 10-15min just to come downstairs to approve the transaction. After 2 days, 2 trips, backround check wait and hours wasted they finally said no. All he offered was 10% discount for my troubles. This is unprofessional, you dont agree to a price and waste a customer's time and energy to end up retracting. I got the energy that they were angry at me for using the companies policies. A simple no at the start would have been great rather than waiting and doing all the legwork for nothing in return. Ive purchased a few firearms in the past from them, each time its been at least 1 hr to wait to even get assistance. Theres no efficiency or organization, no defined line to be seen. Just waiting in silence with no cell reception while other entitled people cut in front of the patient people and are helped first. I dont usually post bad reviews unless ive been severely wronged.
