    I wanted to specifically leave a review for Summer who was with Chanel cosmetics in this Nordstrom location. A friend and I had a very last minute event and needed our make up done. Summer kindly took me even though I was a walk in and she was so sweet. I have like zero knowledge in make up and very rarely wear it, but Summer was so patient as she explained the steps and what she was doing and the products. Even though I had no idea what I wanted, she asked specific questions to help me better explain what I liked and maybe didn’t like. The work she did was phenomenal and it is easily the best makeover I’ve had. We talked the whole appointment and I felt comfortable the entire time. Summer is amazing!

    They have a good selection of stock. The sales associates don’t seem to be very helpful and you usually have to search for them.

    I had a wonderful experience in the shoe department thanks to John. He was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect Jeffrey Campbell shoes to match my dress. He provided several great style options and helped me navigate different color palettes until we found the perfect pair. Highly recommend his expertise!

    Suzie in the Las Vegas shoe department is absolutely amazing. She took the time to help my two friends and I search for our desired sizes and styles in such a patient, professional, and helpful manner. We need more Suzie’s in this world!

    I purchased two leather jackets (Schott and John Varvatos) online, both of which did not fit. When I attempted to return them in-store, I experienced some of the worst customer service I’ve encountered in over 30 years of shopping with Nordstrom. Because my original credit card had been closed, I was told I would only receive a gift card. However, the handling of this situation was inconsistent and unprofessional. The manager stated she needed to seek authorization, and I waited approximately 10 minutes, only to be told that a gift card was the only option. If this is truly a strict store policy, then there should be no need for authorization. The fact that approval was being sought suggests discretion is involved, and it was not applied fairly in my case. When I requested escalation, two additional employees came over. One was openly rude and dismissive. The other, James, was professional and apologetic, even acknowledging the situation in a way that suggested awareness of inappropriate handling. This experience raised serious concerns about inconsistency and fairness in how customers are treated. It did not feel aligned with the standards Nordstrom has built its reputation on. I expect this matter to be reviewed, and I hope appropriate action is taken to ensure consistent, respectful treatment for all customers moving forward.
