  At the last minute, crunch time and the fact that everywhere els was sold out. I looked on blick art website and saw they sold crayola 24 erasable but like everywhere els that brand was sold out, so I Bought 24 the Prismacolor Col- Erase Colored Pencils brand thinking my grandaughter would have a quality art tool. She sharpened them with much delight being a 4th grader ready for her first art project at school. They don't erase for $22, luckily I found her crayola erasable pincles elsewhere the following day. Their return policy is trash. This is BLICK store policy Condition on the website states: "Items need to be new, "unused", and in their original packaging." Blick Art Materials allows you to return merchandise for a full refund or replacement within one year of purchase. Items must be in their original packaging and in "resalable "condition. This is contradictory which is it ? new unused? or in reusable condition? The return policy did it for me. NO MORE BLICK FOR ME ITS OVER RATED AN OVER PRICED !!

  Blicks has absolutely everything to do with art supplies. Usually they have multiple options for anything your looking for and the staff is knowledgable.

  My mother recently passed away. Her husband (my step-father) wanted a picture of her that he could display. I found the old black and white photo of them together, added color and saved image as a 300dpi JPEG for printing, and took it to Blick (I am from the Bay Area and this place gave me a distinctive "Berkeley - Telegraph Ave" flavor). Their prices are cheap and they have vast selection of options for portraits or your own artwork. For me it was a calming Berkeley peace in the store. I highly recommend the store for art materials, supplies and artwork.

  Update: Corporate reached out promptly, and the District Manager, Joyce, personally apologized and confirmed that the block on the store’s Instagram page has been removed. I appreciate how quickly the issue was addressed and corrected. I’m keeping my original review visible because the situation should not have occurred in the first place, but I’m updating my rating to reflect the professionalism and responsiveness shown by management in resolving the matter. Original: I was surprised to discover that the Blick Art Materials store’s official Instagram page blocked me immediately after I liked a few of their posts. I have never had any negative interactions with Blick as a company, and in fact, I work at a learning center and had been considering reaching out about workshops or events for the children at my center. Blocking a customer from a company page without cause is unprofessional and raises concerns about whether personal bias is influencing how the account is managed. This action not only prevents me from engaging with the store’s content, but also discourages potential collaboration opportunities that could benefit the community. I’ve attached a screenshot for transparency. I hope corporate reviews how store accounts are managed to ensure they remain welcoming, professional, and aligned with Blick’s brand values.
