- KGKala GarciaOct 3, 20262.0I’m going to be completely honest: I like this Family Dollar, but I dread going in when Ruby, the manager, is working. Her attitude toward me is consistently rude and disrespectful. She treats me like I’m there to steal something instead of treating me like a paying customer. I’ve never been given a reason to be treated this way, yet I’m made to feel like I’m being watched and judged the entire time I’m in the store. Nobody should have to feel uncomfortable simply because they walked into a store to spend their money. Ruby’s behavior is the only thing that keeps me from wanting to shop here more often. The store itself is fine, but management needs to understand that the way customers are treated matters. Being a manager does not give someone a reason to be rude, condescending, or make customers feel like criminals. I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m asking for the same basic respect that any paying customer deserves.
