Went to purchase a hand gun, took awhile to get some assistance. Then when we found what we wanted. We started back ground check at 130pm. Didn't get an approval till the following day at 1030 am. So took forever for background check

I recently purchased my first firearm—a Canik MC9 Prime—and had an excellent experience here thanks to Sean. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient, even with a busy store full of customers. What really stood out was his honesty. I had spoken with another local gun shop that was not only overpricing the same pistol but also claiming there would be a transfer fee. Sean took the time to clearly explain that there shouldn’t be any transfer fee at all, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure I wasn’t being misled. That level of transparency is hard to find. As a first-time buyer, I appreciated how straightforward and informative he was without making the process feel overwhelming. If you’re looking to purchase your first firearm (or any firearm), I highly recommend coming here and asking for Sean.

May 1st 2026 1950 hours making a trip to Sportsman’s to reload on some ammo clearly driving across town for one it’s because of the availability of ammo unfortunately the cashier Raymundo or Ricardo the black gentleman is absolutely not friendly and does not belong working with customers I have dealt with him before in the past and got the same feeling as if your bothering him to do his job not a single hello or thank you he slams stuff and gives you the vibe as if he is mad that you are making him work clearly this guy needs to be put in the back away from the customers sad to say you have lost my business as long as this guy is here I’ll rather shop online then to deal with this guy again sad this is a store I have shopped at my whole life and one person can ruin it because he does not want to be here working It is a shame that this guy represents the company

Placed an order online went to the store after four hours and was told I had to come back later because they hadn’t got it yet, they also have everything marked as the wrong price so when I got up to the cash register, it was about $60 more than I thought it was. in addition had to run back-and-forth to the gun counter because they miss labeled some ammunition that turned out to be about $10 a box more than what I Overall, terrible shopping experience do yourself a favor and shop online or somewhere else.

I needed some canopy weights for the Rio Grande Valley Celtic Festival. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store, explained what I was looking for and the greeter requested help for me in tent/canopy section. I headed back and was met by sales associate Jackson, he was knowledgeable and showed me the options they carried. The store is clean, the employees are helpful and they had what I needed.
