  I had a very disappointing experience at the Uptown Albuquerque location. From the moment I walked into the store, I felt an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. The way I was treated made me feel judged because of my appearance, and the behavior of the staff came across as discriminatory and possibly racist. While I was looking at the hoodies, I unfolded one to see it better and placed it back where it belonged. It may not have been folded perfectly, but I did not leave it on the floor or make a mess. Almost immediately, an employee went over to the hoodies and appeared to say something to the other employees. I couldn’t hear what was said, but they all looked in my direction. Then another employee was sent to ask if I needed help, even though I had already been asked that. I was simply shopping and looking at the clothes and shoes, but the staff’s behavior made me feel watched, judged, and extremely uncomfortable. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome simply for browsing merchandise. I am a frequent customer online, but after this experience, I have no desire to return to this specific Uptown Albuquerque store. I would rather continue shopping online than spend my money at a location where I am made to feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome.

  I love shopping at Alo! I’ve had such a great experience at Alo, every time! Even when I haven’t purchased anything. Honestly, I was surprised to see some of the negative reviews because my experience has been completely different. Everyone has always been warm, welcoming, and helpful. Ella and Rebecca especially made our last visit so much fun! Ella was so helpful finding different sizes and making sure we found what we were looking for, and Rebecca is just incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming. They made it feel like a fun little girly shopping trip rather than just your typical stop into a store. 🤍 Julie was also absolutely fabulous to me! Really great customer service and such a sweet team! Thankful for you guys!

  My review is for customer service only. I wore a pair of shoes out the door and immediately decided they were too uncomfortable. I returned them and the lady was kind enough to take them but I guess their policy is absolutely no wear to be able to return. That is kind of crazy and could hurt the brand’s loyalty and rapport with customers. Please consider changing your policy some Alo! You were only saved by great costumer service.

  Way over employed and for what? No greetings at all just Gen Z stares Check out girl did not welcome me up or said anything but how would I like my receipt not a thank you, have a good day, or even bye. Working at Alo isn’t a personality trait, you work in customer service 8/5

  If I could give this store a zero I would. The manager is incompetent and rude. Did not offer any solutions. A blonde girl employee came to stand and watch the transaction and when I said something rolled her eyes. Worst Alo I have ever been to. They really should reevaluate who they hire and put into leadership roles.
