- KMKay MSep 12, 20261.0I am writing to report an unacceptable customer service experience at your JCPenney Woodbridge location by this young and petite girl with dyed orange hair; I’m describing her because she didn’t have a name tag. I visited the store around 8pm and selected a dress and pants I wanted to try on (2 items). Although the fitting rooms were already closed at 8:34p this employee unlocked the door for two customers ahead of me. When I approached her and politely stated that I also needed to try on my items, she responded rudely, saying, “We are closing and made multiple announcements. You’ll have to come back tomorrow,” and then walked away. Her tone, attitude, and inconsistency in allowing some customers access while denying others were unprofessional and disrespectful. I drove 30 minutes to this location, and I expect fair treatment and basic courtesy. JCPenney should ensure employees are trained in customer service and treat all customers with respect.

Many customers were stuck waiting with no assistance. Manager Kate suggested I leave a review in hopes the company will hire more staff. For a store this size, not having enough employees to help customers check out is unacceptable. To make matters worse, they had no shopping bags and gave me a clear garbage bag for the gifts I purchased
