Customer service used to be much better. Purchased a bag here two years ago and had an amazing experience, my sales rep no longer works there and all of the staff seems to be different now. Entered the store today with said bag and a lady came from the back and started to explain the “bag I was trying out” to me. I politely let her know that I wasn’t trying anything out and this was in fact my own bag that I entered the store with, no big deal. What bothered me was that she replied “oh, do you work for the company?” Implying that I can not afford to buy a bag on my own without an employee discount. Needless to say if I ever do make a new balenciaga purchase after this it will not be at the short hills location. I can spend $3,000+ on a bag anywhere, I don’t need to be belittled while doing so. And I have nothing to prove to a retail employee. It’s a shame bc there was in fact a new bag I had my eye on but decided against due to no longer wanting to support the staff at this location. Spend your money elsewhere if you want to feel respected while doing so!

Thing is, it wasn't the sale, it's the fact that she took her time to put my purchase in a bag, box, than bag.
Superb customer service.
Definitely a return customer.

My 1st experience was amazing with Sophia. But then I came back to exchange one of my items that didn't fit me and Devon ingram the associate store manager told me I can't get store credit or exchange it since there was some lint on it. I asked him if I can use a lint roller and cone back. He said sure. I came back the next week. I made sure there was no lint and he told me he still won't take it. I tried telling him it was my 3rd time there and it's 2 hours or driving each time but he didn't care. He told the security not to let me in. I called customer service and they confirmed Its in the policy to exchange or receive store credit within 30 days. I would recommend dealing with Sophia or going to another location. I really hope they have some in-house training and teach the associate store manager customer service. I'm a good loyal customer and he should do better
