Sagar is not just a talented jewelry designer but also a knowledgeable gemologist who truly understands gemstones, design, and fine craftsmanship. What sets him apart is his personalized approach. He works by appointment, giving you his complete, undivided attention. He patiently worked through every detail of my ring, making refinements until I was 100% satisfied. Never once did I feel rushed. The finished ring is stunning, and the craftsmanship speaks for itself! Sagar doesn’t just sell jewelry- he creates something personal, meaningful, and truly special.   This place is amazing! I had to get my engagement ring resized by multiple sizes- which was a difficult job. They were very communicative along the way and kind. The ring turned out perfectly and only took a little over a week. Thank you!!

  *UPDATE* 9/25/2026: it should be the responsibility of the so-called experts to provide a professional and pleasant transaction experience, both of which Sagar did not do. I’m not sure how else we could’ve shown how serious we were since we came in with pictures and specifications of exactly what we were looking for. his petty response to my review only reinforces why my boyfriend and I only spent ten minutes in the store and immediately called a different jeweler that we’ll be moving forward with. some very good jewelers in the area include Roman Jewelers (they don’t show diamonds from google images) and the diamond exchange in Woodbridge (also do not show diamonds from google images). good luck everyone! *original* my boyfriend and I visited the jewelry design lab to look at engagement rings for the first time together, and we had a horrible experience here. Sagar, the owner, started off the consultation nice enough in the beginning, but once I told him that I’m interested in elongated cushion diamonds, he told us that that cut of diamond is very atypical and that emerald cuts are much better and more timeless - which I thought was strange considering how common of a cut this was, and that a consultant shouldn’t be convincing me what it is that I want? but after insisting that we at least wanted to see what they looked like in person, he went to the back and looked up if he had any, and lo and behold he came back to us saying that there actually *are* a lot of elongated cushion diamonds. when we asked to see what he had on hand, he showed us examples from google images, not a database or anything. and then once we expressed hesitation in putting a deposit down that day (again, because this was our first time ever looking at engagement rings), he asked us verbatim why we were wasting his time then. the consultation ended after that because my boyfriend and I got very upset with the way we were treated. not sure how this establishment has such high reviews. it left a very sour taste in our mouths during what should’ve been a very happy occasion.
