  I was very disappointed with my experience at the Parsippany location today. I have purchased my children’s uniforms from this location in the past, and I shop in the Parsippany area frequently, so I specifically chose this location because it is convenient for me. I came in looking for an Uncommon Schools uniform and was told that the Parsippany location no longer services Uncommon Schools and that I would have to go to the Newark location. When I called customer service for clarification, I was told that the Newark store is closer to the school. But that does not answer my question. The location of my child’s school should not determine which store is most convenient for me as the customer. What makes this even more confusing is that these appear to be the same basic uniform shirts, sweaters, and other pieces, with the individual school logo added to them. This location has also provided Uncommon Schools uniforms in the past. If the Parsippany store carries the uniform pieces and has the ability to apply school logos, I would like to understand why an Uncommon Schools logo can no longer be applied or ordered through this location. If there is a licensing, contractual, or other legitimate reason, simply explain that to customers. I also want to make it very clear that I have visited the Newark location and have never had a bad experience there. The employees there have always been very friendly and professional, and they move quickly. You are usually in and out. My concern has nothing to do with the Newark location or its employees. My concern is being told that I HAVE to shop at the Newark location simply because my child attends a school in Newark when I prefer to shop in Parsippany. Unfortunately, my customer service experience at the Parsippany location today was also disappointing. When I initially asked about the Uncommon Schools uniform, the response I received came across as very dismissive. Another employee eventually assisted me and had me fill out my information regarding the size I needed, only to return almost immediately and tell me they did not have the size. The entire interaction left me feeling unwelcome. It also did not sit right with me that the explanation for directing me to Newark was simply that the school is located there. Families may live, work, shop, or have other reasons for choosing a different location. Customers should be able to choose the location that works best for them whenever possible. If there is an actual company policy that prevents the Parsippany location from selling or ordering Uncommon Schools uniforms or applying the school logo, then explain that policy. “The Newark store is closer to the school” is not a meaningful explanation for why a returning customer cannot choose another location within the same company.

  Exceptionally rude and incompetent service. The woman who worked with us could not have been less helpful and was entirely uninterested in getting my daughter the right fit. I wish our school would stop using them for uniforms. The product quality is terrible and getting worse every year. The service is abysmal. Hoping and praying someone will create a better business to replace this sad state of affairs.

  Apparently they don’t know how to answer phone calls, I called about 7 times- I did not get a pickup. They are clearly open, just too lazy to pick up the damn phone.

  Josue was fantastic! He was respectful, patient, and very helpful. He made sure my uniforms were ready and that I received the correct ones. I truly appreciate his excellent customer service and willingness to help!

  Excellent service and the organization was good. Although it was very busy, since it's the week before school starts, our sales person Syd was great! She was friendly and helpful. She was additionally honest with delivery times on items that we had to order. It was a fun experience with my granddaughter.
