Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.
All lululemon locations have strong ties to our local communities.
"I have a total love-hate relationship with lululemon. On one hand, the quality is undeniably top-tier—I’ve had a pair of Align Leggings for three years that still feel like butter and haven't lost their shape. There is just something about the fit and that 'Nulu' fabric that no cheaper dupe has managed to perfectly replicate. On the other hand, the pricing has become pretty wild. Paying $100+ for yoga pants feels like a lot, and the in-store experience can sometimes feel a bit 'exclusive' rather than welcoming. Also, if you aren't careful with how you wash them (cold water/hang dry only!), they can pill, which is frustrating for the price. That said, their complimentary hemming is a lifesaver for those of us who aren't supermodel height, and their 'We Made Too Much' clearance section is the only way I can justify my addiction. It’s definitely a luxury, but if you live in activewear, the cost-per-wear actually starts to make sense!"

My first time going to Lululemon and I have to say the service was amazing, one of the workers, Alisha, helped me so much with finding what I needed and exactly what I was looking for. Definitely recommend coming here, staff is very helpful!

I was at the Lululemon store in the Garden State Mall this afternoon to buy a gift card. There was very few people in the store and no one on line at the registers (with two employees manning the registers) I was informed that they didn't have any physical gift cards. I asked if maybe another store might have them. Her answer "I guess". I asked if she could call another store to see if they had any (still no one in line so I wasn't holding up anyone) Her answer "No. You can call them." I was a bit shocked and stepped out of the store and called the Closter NJ store who said they did have them. The girls in the Closter store could not have been nicer!! I total change from the girl at the Garden State Plaza store. They even put the gift card in a little bag with tissue paper. Go to the Closter store for Lululemon!
