  Don't bother trying to return items purchased prior to the 2018 policy change at this location. The employee at the customer service desk was ignorant of the old policy, gave completely wrong information ("we never had a lifetime return policy," "it only covered defects in craftsmanship for one year," etc.), refused to acknowledge the official policy text on the website, and was rather rude during the whole interaction. I suspect it might be the same male employee who has sparked complaints in other recent reviews. I was able to return the item with no issues via mail, but it's very annoying that I had to pay a return label fee and wait multiple weeks to get my replacement item just because a poorly trained employee was confidently incorrect and decided to go on an unwarranted power trip. I usually like to support physical stores, but I'll stick to online purchases instead of going back here. EDIT after the owner's response: the "lifetime policy" terminology is an issue of semantics; a quick Google search turns up several articles from the time of the policy change that do refer to the old policy as "lifetime," but regardless, I think we all understand the difference between the pre-2018 policy and the current one. The true issue is the employee's refusal to honor the publicly stated policy of the company and their rude, dismissive behavior while doing so. Again, I had no issues getting the exchange processed via mail, so I'm confident stating that the issue is with this Marlton location specifically.

  Had to return a purchase from several months ago. Staff was pleasant and helpful. It was done quickly and I could move on to my other errands.

  I went to the store today with a pair of wellies that I purchased in November 2024 with the purpose of wearing them in London and the Cotswolds in January and February 2025. I wore them there — they were comfortable and waterproof. I put them away until January 2026 when I pulled them out for a trip to Rome. It rains a lot in Rome during the winter. All was well until the third week of the trip when I realized that both boots were coming apart along the seam. Desperate for dry feet, I found super glued them along the seam. The glue held fast for the next week and a half. I was disappointed by the failure of my wellies as they had only been worn for a total of less than 4 months. I was used to LL Bean guarantees so I took them back to the store. “ oh sorry, we only guarantee our products for a year.” That’s it for me. Ll Bean has apparently entered the throwaway age. I have shopped there for many years but I’m done! Very disappointed
