  Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Great prices on a wide variety of men's and women's clothing, shoes, and accessories. The place to shop for name brand fashions at affordable prices. Large parking area with numerous handicap spots. Easy entrance and exit access.

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this Nordstrom Rack. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a retail store. When we arrived at the fitting rooms, we were immediately told in a very forceful manner that shoes were not allowed inside the dressing rooms. While we found the policy inconvenient, we respected it without argument. My husband had to repeatedly come out of the fitting room every single time he wanted to see how a pair of shoes looked with an outfit. It made trying on clothing frustrating and unnecessarily time-consuming. What made the situation even more upsetting was that, while we were following the rules we had been given, we watched other customers walk into the fitting rooms carrying shoes without anyone stopping them or saying a word. I politely asked if this was truly a store policy or if it was only being enforced with us. I was told it was store policy, yet that clearly wasn’t what we were witnessing. If a policy exists, it should be applied consistently to every customer—not selectively. After asking my question, I simply went back to my husband and then just returned to my seat and quietly waited for my husband to finish trying on his clothes. I never raised my voice, argued, or treated anyone disrespectfully. Instead of professionalism, I was met with behavior that was incredibly immature and inappropriate. Two female employees began openly talking while repeatedly looking in my direction and giving me dirty looks especially the on in black with orange hair. It was obvious enough that I felt they were discussing me and my husband. When they realized I could clearly hear and see them, they turned toward a third coworker wearing a green shirt and appeared to continue the conversation with her, all while continuing to glance over at us. Whether they thought I could hear them or not, no customer should ever be made to feel like they are the subject of employee gossip simply because they respectfully asked a question. I left feeling embarrassed, singled out, and completely unwelcome. It wasn’t the shoe policy itself that ruined our experience—it was the selective enforcement of that policy and the unprofessional behavior that followed. A simple, respectful explanation would have been enough. Instead, we were made to feel like we had done something wrong for asking a reasonable question while watching the rules being applied differently to other shoppers. Nordstrom has built its reputation on excellent customer service, but this location fell far short of that standard. Customers should expect to be treated with fairness, consistency, and respect—not judgment, gossip, or selective enforcement of store policies. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. I sincerely hope management addresses both the inconsistent enforcement of store policies and the professionalism of the staff so that no other customer has to leave feeling the way we did.
