  Julea and Laura were extremely generous and kind in helping me with a pair of shoes. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, and I know I will be returning!

  Lady at the front was very rude. I understand that the store closed at 8 but we went in at 7:40 to quickly get at pair in and out but as soon as we entered they were telling us they closed in 10 minutes in a rude tone. Its not like we walked in at 8 or right before so she lame for that fr.

  I am extremely disappointed with the treatment my family and I received at the DSW Brick location on June 19, 2026, at approximately 6:30 PM. The manager, Denise, was very rude and disrespectful to both me and my children. My child was looking at umbrellas to choose one as a birthday gift when Denise loudly shouted, "Don't touch all the umbrellas." Her tone was inappropriate and frightened my child so much that he came back to me crying. Later, while I was shopping for shoes, Denise made another unnecessary comment, saying, "You don't need to touch every shoe." In reality, I was simply looking at a shoe that I ultimately purchased. Throughout the interaction, her tone was hostile and unprofessional. What upset me the most was being told, "Every time you people come in, you behave like it's your outlet." I found this comment offensive and inappropriate. It left me feeling that I was being unfairly targeted and treated differently. The entire experience gave me the impression that Denise was more focused on criticizing customers than providing customer service. I have proof of my purchase from that visit, and I encourage DSW to review the store's security camera footage from around 6:30 PM on June 19, 2026, to verify what occurred. As a professional who has always treated retail employees with respect, I was shocked by the way my family was treated. No customer, especially a child, should be made to feel uncomfortable or intimidated while shopping. DSW is a respected brand, and I do not believe this type of behavior reflects the standards customers expect. Because of this experience, I do not plan to shop at DSW again unless I am contacted by corporate management and given the opportunity to discuss what happened. I hope DSW takes this complaint seriously and investigates the incident appropriately.
