My local go to for firearms and related purchases. Most places want to harass you into buying something or follow you around the entire store while you try and peruse the stock. Multiple purchases through the gun shop and Michael has always been helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Will continue to bring my business here!

Today while shopping at scheels . I felt very profiled and targeted and uncomfortable. I have been here many times over the years and never had any issues here. I always spend a lot of money . But for some reason a store employee came up to me and asked if I needed any help . I said no . I was just looking at Christian clothes (three nails) and trying to decide. He wouldn’t leave my side . Even after my wife showed up I felt rushed to pick out clothes and he stood there watching me the hole time and wouldn’t leave . He walked me over to the fitting room and stood out side like a prison guard . After I came out I told him thank you and told him I was gonna go now to continue shopping with my wife so he would stay there. The whole experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth for scheels . For context yes I have tattoos and I’m brown but I’m clean cut and I pulled in a 100k truck . I just don’t understand this type of profiling. Like really who’s gonna come in to steal Christian clothes? Do better scheels

Michael in the gun department was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude toward us the entire time. It honestly felt like he couldn’t care less about his job or the customers he was supposed to be helping. Instead of answering questions or providing any kind of customer service, he acted bothered that we were even there. Because of how unprofessional and careless he was, we decided to leave and purchase the firearm somewhere else. What made the experience even worse was his reaction when we left — he showed absolutely no concern whatsoever and acted like losing customers meant nothing to him. Very disappointing experience.

Nice clean store, and cute that it was amongst other stores like a mini mall. Easy to find what we needed fast and efficient. Love this place.

Bad day all around for Scheels. I stood in line for 15 mins to check out and the clerk answered the phone when it was my turn and took another 15 mins helping a phone customer while I waited and the 8 people in line behind me waited also. When I complained to her she said "it was another customer I was helping." Don't know why she didn't transfer the call to the Customer Service desk. Then when I paid my gift cards showed invalid even though I just received them. I went to the Customer Service desk where I waited in line for another 15 mins to be told that a glitch in their computer system was not accepting any gift cards. Even though I have received good service in the past , it may be a long time before I return to Scheels.
