  I’m writing a review specifically for the Bike/Service department, and Sam! I have also worked with Thomas and all of the other workers in between. I have nothing but good things to say about this bike dept, Sam & Thomas. They are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and reasonable. Service is A+ and all are personable. Choose this store before even thinking about the Trek store on Pioneers!

  Cody in the golf department helped my husband purchase a Callaway golf club set. He was extremely knowledgeable about golf and made the entire shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free. We truly appreciated his excellent customer service. Thank you so much!

  I had an outstanding experience at Scheels in Lincoln, Nebraska, and I wanted to recognize a few employees who truly went above and beyond. I stopped in looking for a more durable air mattress than the one I've been using, and I was able to find one that looks much better suited to my needs. I was also searching for a larger camping cot. One of the associates took the time to help me find one that I could actually try in the store. It was significantly larger than my old cot, supported my entire body comfortably, and the spring-supported design felt far more comfortable than the style I had been using. I really appreciated being able to test it before making such an important purchase. As I was checking out, Store Manager Katelyn took the time to answer my questions about the available discounts and made the entire checkout process easy and enjoyable. What stood out even more than her knowledge was her genuine kindness. She treated me like a valued customer rather than just another transaction. We ended up having a wonderful conversation, and both she and another cashier were incredibly supportive of military members. As a veteran, that meant a great deal to me. The conversation didn't stop at shopping, either. Since I'm only visiting Lincoln for work, they happily shared recommendations for local restaurants and things to do around town. That kind of hospitality isn't something you expect to find in a retail store, and it made me feel genuinely welcome. Before leaving, I was introduced to Rebecca, who normally works in the clothing department. Although the specific item I had originally been searching for wasn't available, she didn't stop there. She took the time to help me find an alternative that fit my needs, ultimately helping me choose a pair of lightweight work pants that should be much more comfortable during long days on job sites. She was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right solution instead of simply making a sale. Customer service like this has become increasingly rare, and it's worth recognizing when you experience it. Every employee I interacted with was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and sincerely invested in making sure I left happy. Thank you to Katelyn, Rebecca, and the rest of the team for making what could have been a routine shopping trip into such a positive experience. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in Lincoln.
