- HCHope ClarkeAug 1, 20261.0I took my 16 year old foster daughter to Plato’s closet and she really wanted to sell some of her clothes. When we came to collect our items we were told the no items were going to be collected because they weren’t clean. I was in shock. I promise I make sure the clothes are clean and yes we do have dogs but a lot of people have dogs. That’s besides the point though. It made me feel dirty and disrespected. She said if we clean them up we could bring them again. But didn’t give any details if there were any clothes they were interested in. I was so disappointed. What’s worse is I feel hurt for my daughter.
