  I recently worked with Will at Gunderson to purchase a new watch. I live in Minnesota so my initial contact was all done via phone. Will was engaging and informative throughout the entire process. He gave me a realistic expectation for a timeline and delivered even sooner than he had told me to expect. Upon arrival for pick up Will was prepared for us and made the experience memorable. I plan to continue working with Gunderson for my future watch/timepiece needs. If you are in the area stop by, they have a great selection of jewelry and watches. The store is large and has ample parking. 10/10 would recommend Will and Gunderson in Fargo.

  We brought in a TAG Heuer watch today, which had been given as a graduation gift the night before and purchased out of town several months ago, to have it sized. The employee initially told us they could size it and took the watch to the back for about 20 minutes. After that, they came back and claimed the watch required a “special tool” they didn’t have. That turned out to be completely untrue. We immediately took the watch to a basic mall jewelry store, where they sized it in under 5 minutes with no issue at all. What made the experience worse was the attitude we received. We had visited the store the day before to look at Rolex watches, but didn’t make a purchase because we were told nothing was available. Anyone familiar with Rolex knows most models are not simply available to buy on the spot due to waitlists and allocations. However, when we returned the next day, one of the employees from our previous visit recognized us and the interaction immediately felt colder and more dismissive. After speaking with the employee who was actively sizing the watch, we were suddenly told the watch could no longer be sized because of this supposed “special tool.” If the store simply didn’t want to work on the watch, that would have been perfectly fine. We were willing to pay for the service. But being dishonest instead of simply saying no felt unprofessional and unnecessary. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

  My wife found a bracelet on the Gundersons website that she loved. She really wanted to be able to see it in person before committing to buying it. Will went above and beyond to get it transferred to Fargo from another store and held for us to look at. We ended up buying the bracelet as it was exactly what my wife hoped it would be. Thanks so much Will!

  The selection of jewelry is outstanding, and I can’t say enough about the friendly staff. They are never pushy and always helpful. Truly a pleasure to shop here, and the service really keeps me coming back.

  The whole process was great! I worked with Judi for a couple of weeks to get the details of our ring correct and she was great every step of the way. Having open communication at all times made the whole thing feel much more comfortable and professional. I appreciate all of the work done!
