    They keep the worst workers. Having one girl at the registers as the line is wrapping around the store and she's running back and forth to clean the store while helping everyone and while still trying to ring everyone up while the other workers arent doing anything, talking or no where to be found, or standing around on their phones talking and not helping is ridiculous. I will be calling corporate to have them come investigate this store cause it's honestly ran terribly. Never go there. One time I came in and was shopping around and I asked for help and the cashier was rude and very dismissive when it came to showing me where anything was and pointed to the back of the store, which had a TON of different items. When I asked again can she show me where they were she got a huge attitude, pointed to the back and said "You can't see that at the back of the store" and continued texting on her phone. The associate name was Hallie. My wife came in after me and asked her questions about a few items that didn't have tags on them and she was extremely rude. Went over to the beauty department with my wife and Noone was any where to be found, once we located them, they were over in a corner chatting about other workers. My wife approached them and asked for help and they sent her back over to the ladies department. That was the 3rd time that has happened to her there. Another time it happened, the lady was over in beauty standing around talking and sent my wife over to ladies where there was an associate by herself with the line to the back of the store and Noone was there to help her so we stood in line for 30 minutes before we decided to leave. Never going back to that store. Customer service sucks there, but they will ask you if you want to sign up for a credit card. The only time I've received help from anyone was from a worker by the name of Roshounda. Always pleasant but she's always at the register by herself everytime we come in but she never skipped out on showing us where anything was and was extremely patient to the customers. This store needs new management before it closes down. Men's bathroom smells like Noone cleans it and tissue is always everywhere. I'm sure it's enough ppl there to keep the store clean if they are never at the registers.

    The store was cleaner than the past couple of times we've been there, but it still isn't up to the standards Belk used to have. I'm glad to see the clothing racks are tidier, too. The ladies' room still left something to be desired. (For one example, the bathroom tissue needs to go in the dispensers instead of on top where it can be knocked in the floor to collect pathogens. Another example: fill all of the dispensers including paper towel and seat protector, please.) I did not buy anything today, though, because one of the cashiers at the cashiers' stand in the ladies' wear department coughed over and over WITHOUT covering her mouth! I heard her shortly after I stepped into that department. I'd looked forward to getting a cute new sweater or dress, but I didn't need to get sick. So, I left empty handed. So sad. The bright spot of the entire visit was interacting with a lovely sales associate named Ava. She was the kindest, most helpful, and most patient person I've met in-person in a long time. Belk would do well to promote Ava into a training position to teach other associates how to treat customers. She's amazing. All of the associates at this Belk really are nice. If that one hadn't been so sick, I would've enjoyed my visit; very nice people!
