I always find really good deals here. The couches and chairs are very clean except for some really old ones – do we call these vintage? They have tools and books and bikes and little bit of everything. Great to go search around for great deals

Today was my FIRST time in this establishment but it will be my last. I was able to find what I need so that was great but the customer service was less than exceptional. The cashier, Jenna Hunt, was very rude and impatient. I didn’t appreciate her overall attitude and the way she spoke to me made me very uncomfortable. I noticed how she handled the customer before me as well and that exchange was quite odd. It seems that she has more patience for customers that look more like her, not so much for the brown skinned customers, which was very disappointing.

Although I really like to shop here & almost always find something great, there is a female employee who has an extremely off putting personality. On one visit, I approached the register to purchase a multitude of cabinet pulls, prepared with the numbers of items to help save time. She proceeds to gruffly say that she has to go through them anyway, begins to price them on the spot, telling me that “new pulls” are priced higher. When I questioned that signage didn’t indicate this pricing structure, talking with a manager, the cashier overruled and I walked away empty handed. The Restore lost a nice sale and almost lost a good customer.
The next time I went there the cabinet hardware pricing signage was all still exactly the same with no indication of price difference for “new” items. Oh well.
Now Wake Restores have a new price reduction system and time will tell if it’s a good idea, or not. I know that Habitat is building homes, doing good work & I really want the stores to continue to succeed in helping fund this valuable service to the community. Corporate needs to take a hard look at their retail practices and how the stores can best support the customers too.

This couch and ottoman set was a perfect find, and the delivery guys were incredible. They saw I was all alone and helped me beyond what they were required. I’m more than grateful, and super glad I went!
