  I was extremely disappointed when I dropped off two tubs of vintage and antique china. These items had survived all these years and to my dismay, I was stunned to have the man receiving my items take the tub inside and turned and dumped the tub upside down. All I heard was glass breaking. He then took the 2nd tub and did the same thing. This has been on my mind the last couple of days. I dropped the items off so that others could find value and also to help Goodwill. In thinking about the store, I hardly ever see much in housewares/china section. Now I know why. I will not bring any future items to Goodwill at Monroe. You should get team members that appreciate the vintage and antique items. They are not trash and shouldn't been treated that way.

  We just took about 10 bags/totes worth of stuff to donate. It was nice things. It had name brand stuff that still has tags on it that I didn’t have time to sell. I’m not expecting the employees to be excited about working, but when they have an attitude about the amount of stuff I bring FOR FREE it’s irritating and makes me want to bring my stuff elsewhere. There’s no reason for the older man and the younger girl who are working right now to roll their eyes and have an attitude because people are donating stuff (they did the same thing to the car before us). I understand people have bad days but there was no reason to take their attitudes out on people who were just trying to donate items. If you are looking to donate items here keep this in mind.
