they say one thing on the phone but when you get there it’s a whole different story.. this would be my 5th time coming and I wouldn’t recommend they offered me $2.50 for clothes that were pricy their attitudes are crazy they talk low it’s unprofessional they say come with clothes WASHED DRIED & FOLDED and they still do the customers dirty . they say they don’t take SHEIN & etc but it’s hella SHEIN and fashion nova in there they tried to give me $10.89 for a pair of shoes that were worn once ( Jordan’s ) I will never come back here weather I’m looking to buy or sale . they need to do better and they always have something to say about what people wear meanwhile they came to work looking like they rolled out of bed and didn’t care .

Overall this is a really clean and organized Plato’s Closet. But I am very disappointed after trying to sell clothes there. I brought it a full large bag of clothes that are all name brands such as Aerie, American Eagle, Hollister, Abercrombie, etc. A lot of the items were brand new with tags on them. I understand that Plato’s closet buys according to the season so I made sure to bring in all summer clothes. I brought in a few perfumes as well that were never touched from Bath & Body Works. Not only did they take two hours to go through my clothes but they definitely scammed me out of money. They bought 7 items, 3 perfumes and 4 pairs of jeans/jean shorts. GUESS HOW MUCH THEY TRIED BUYING THEM FOR… $13… I was very annoyed and proceeded to ask how much they were buying each item for. They said that each perfume they wanted to buy for $1.25. They wanted to buy a $16.95 B&BW never used perfume for $1.25!!! Not only that but the $50-$75 jeans and jean shorts they wanted to buy for $1.75. Safe to say I will never come back to this location. Very disappointed with this experience.

Time estimate was way off (and extra 2 hours) with no updates and unprofessional employees bickering back and forth about looking up the pricing when the buyer (I) wasn’t going to get anything anyways. I just ended up taking my things and leaving.

I just went inside to see if they would be interested in buying a professional Calvin Klein dress. The girl at the front barely looked up at me so I kindly asked if they would be interested. Before I could even unfold the dress, she looked at me with almost disgust and said “I can tell you right now we won’t be interested in that - it’s too… mature”. And then she proceeded to tell me a place that would buy my “mature” clothing. Yes, it was a professional dress that wasn’t covered in graffiti and actually covers ones’ midsection, but it certainly wasn’t Grandma’s Sunday best. The girl’s attitude, facial expression and overall tone were incredibly rude and insulting. There are literally 100 different ways to say you aren’t interested in an item that don’t require the side-eye nasty look and entitled tone. Management should really reconsider having someone who can speak to actual humans outside of TikTok to be the face of the store; perhaps even someone more “mature”.
