  Really think all the staff that works here needs to be re trained or something needs to be done I have took clothes here 5 or 6 times now and they wont even go threw the tote I bring not to mention they make you wait long hours and then offer you very little money for the items they do take. And i was here Monday and the women was highly rude and acted like the clothes wasn't good Enough for there store I will never return here again

  I do not necessarily enjoy shopping. However, if I am in the shopping mood, or looking for something specific, Plato's is my #1 GO TO!

  Rudest employees ever! Ready to drop some serious money but they couldn’t be bothered to even greet me. (Belated review.) I walked around for a long time and was ignored. So I went to Anthropology and gave them my business!

  We went in earlier today and my autistic little sister decided she was going to play hide and seek while I looked at a necklace, she doesn’t respond to people calling her name so I started panicking but knew she was in the store because I had been right at the door. I asked a woman at the register if she had seen her and that I couldn’t find her, and without hesitation or judgment she began helping me look and had another employee watch the door so she didn’t leave. My mom came into the store couple minutes after and found her immediately (mom intuition knew where she would be hiding) and found her in the dresses. My point is, not only are the prices here amazing, but the staff is kind, caring, and takes their job and safety seriously. I’m not sure who the woman was, but she had straight long brown hair and was amazing. Thank you guys so much!

  Too bad you can't give a negative five stars for this unprofessional business!!!! The store space could be used for something far more valuable to the bustling retail opportunities in Hickory. Clearly they do not have anyone that has any clue about what's in style. Better options can be found at Goodwill, compared to the items they choose to consign. Be sure to READ ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS!!! They are spot on, as I had a very similar experience on many occasions when attempting to consign items there. And, the employees DESPERATELY need customer service training! I'm certainly not opposed to teenagers working, but there's really no excuse for the better than thou attitudes they exude from behind the counter. I did some research and learned that Grady Farmer, of Windmark corporation, is the owner of this franchise. If you've had a bad experience, I would encourage you to attempt to contact Mr. Farmer to express your concerns. He needs to have mystery shoppers visiting that location and attempting to consign a variety of items to better understand the confusing and negative consignee experiences.
