  This is a cool little shop. We bought some shirts in here that were on sale. A lot of merchandise inside of you are looking for momentous for your trip. Would definitely come back if I was in the area. They get pretty busy on the weekends. Parking lot fills up fast.

  We found some Hey Dudes here for a good price. However, the store is tight and when 6 employees are standing in a group gossiping and refolding boxes of shirts, it’s even more so impossible to shop.

  We go here every year with our kids and usually they’re great. This year we go in and there’s one employee and after picking out the clothes we wanted we go up to the counter and wait. The people in line in front of us ring the bell twice with no response. Finally the customer in front of us goes and finds the employee and she’s says she’s not going to help because she’s on break. We end up leaving disappointed after putting the stuff back. This is beyond ridiculous and makes it less likely for us to visit next year. Absolutely terrible experience!

  Do not shop here. Found a pair of Hey Dudes I liked. $70. They had a red sticker reflecting a sale. At the counter, I was told the sale had ended. Behind the cashier was a sign that said all clearance sales are final. Left to continue shopping and immediately walked into the store next door to find the same pair of Hey Dudes for $40. I immediately returned to the Kitty Hawk Kites and requested a refund. I was told due to their new POS system (ironically named) they can no longer return your money and may only issue a gift card. This is not your local mall. This is a business, on a barrier island, where people may only come once. I hadn’t worn them. Talk about bad business. Fake sales sticker and an inability to offer a refund…unless you want to spend the money back in their store. Go to Farmer’s Daughter. Go to the other little shop. Have a beer at the Marina. But, don’t give these crooks your money. 0/10 stars.
