  When I came into the store, I clearly explained to the sales associate that I was shopping on a budget. I even asked if there were any pre-opened bags of flower available for purchase because I have been offered that option at other locations in the past, specifically the Winston-Salem store even though unopened bags were available. The bag I ultimately purchased was the Mendo Purple, which was the last bag available. The associate had to open it so I could smell it, yet I was not offered the usual $5 discount for purchasing an opened bag. What made the experience worse was the attitude I received throughout the interaction. It felt as though my concerns about being on a budget were completely ignored. However, when I politely stated that I did not want to be asked to donate money after already explaining my financial limitations, the associate suddenly had a smart response to give. The overall interaction came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I do not appreciate being treated this way, especially as a regularly paying customer, and I also do not appreciate not being given the discount for the opened bag I purchased. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to this location.
