I recently visited this location with the hopes that 4 slacks (dress pants for men) would be properly received as a donation/offering. I offered these pants to a worker who simply dumped them into the box she was carrying around. That is not how you receive a donation from a customer. When people offer something of value, it should be received, possibly checked if anything. I will probably never offer donations like this again to this store.

Great experience at Goodwill in Gastonia! The store was clean and organized, the staff was friendly, and there was a great selection at affordable prices. I enjoyed looking around and found some excellent deals. Definitely one of the better thrift stores in the area—I’ll be back! 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is because they offer senior discounts, but no military discount. As a disabled veteran, that discount helps a lot. I think military discount should be offered, but I also think discounts should be limited. Discounts should NOT be offered to people who have buggies overflowing with merchandise of various sizes because they are only buying to resell at a higher price. It's frustratingenough to not find anything you like on the racks but see these people walkingaround with what you are looking for overflowing out of their buggy, but for them to get discounts too would be adding insult to injury for people who shop here because they need to.
