I come an hr away just to get service and then still have to drive almost 2hrs to go to the next location. This is unacceptable and the fact that it also makes you have to change your whole schedule just got something that shouldn’t take a long time is ridiculous. I don’t recommend coming to this shop if you have to get this device put in because you will just be wasting your time. The photo time is 8:30 btw someone who was here before me said they had been here since 7:50 and still no one have showed up or there is no one who you can contact for an update on your wait.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
