- QMQuinn McElhennyJun 8, 20261.0When they say bikes will be delivered by the end of the day, they sure mean the end of the day. We rented bikes to be delivered on our first full day of being in Kill Devil Hills, called to check on if they were still being delivered at 5pm (thinking they would be delivered by the end of the business day) the person we spoke to said they should be delivered in 1-2hrs and did apologize for the inconvenience. They were still not here by 8pm, we had left and returned around 9pm they had finally been delivered. We called the next day to ask for a refund for just the first day as we were unable to use them being it was dark by the time they were delivered and the manager was to call us back. When he did finally call back 6 hours later after another call to them he did not seem to care in the slightest that we paid $26 each for two bikes and were unable to use them and refused to offer any sort of refund or discount for the inconvenience. The owner said that technically they were there before the end of the day so he absolutely refused to do anything as far as a refund or discount for us being that we were further away we were the last delivery of the day none of which should matter. So just beware went you rent you could be paying just to look at your bikes in the dark for the first day.
