  I had a very disappointing interaction with one of the sales people, Mary. I came in looking for a few basics for myself and a few pieces for my child’s school uniform. I peeked around for a few minutes and then wandered when I could not find what I was looking for. I headed towards men and was kind of looking around when Mary appeared behind me and I asked her if there was another level to the store. She was so affronted by my question, rolled her eyes and very sharply said no. I didn’t mean to offend, I have been to several other RL stores and they have multiple stories. I was taken aback and then said thank you and then I turned back around and said I was sorry and she just turned around and gave me a look. I don’t get it. As I walked in I noticed a balcony above and thought there may have been another level. Anyway, I just thought it should be noted. I understand we all have bad days and you never know what someone else is going through but she should have been able to answer me simply and kindly.

  If I could give this place six stars, I would. The Ralph Lauren store in Charlotte is everything the brand is supposed to represent—timeless, refined, and executed at an incredibly high level. From the moment you walk in, it feels less like a retail store and more like stepping into a perfectly curated lifestyle. The atmosphere is polished without being pretentious, and every detail—from the lighting to the merchandising—reflects that classic Ralph Lauren elegance. I’ve purchased multiple made-to-measure tuxedos here, along with a range of other pieces, and the experience has been consistently exceptional. The craftsmanship and fit are outstanding, but what truly sets this store apart is the people. Brittani, in particular, deserves recognition. She is phenomenal. Her eye for style, attention to detail, and ability to understand exactly what you’re looking for (even when you don’t fully know yourself yet) is on another level. She makes the entire process seamless and genuinely enjoyable. You never feel rushed—only guided by someone who clearly takes pride in delivering a first-class experience. And it’s not just Brittani—the entire team operates at that same level. Professional, knowledgeable, and effortlessly classy. They treat you like a valued client, not just a transaction.   I’ve been meaning to do this review for several weeks. I’m happy to have finally gotten to it. This is the finer of the Ralph Lauren stores. Not the Polo Ralph Lauren. We had just dined at Limani and headed over to have a cup of Ralph’s Coffee. I walked in & was greeted by Vanessa, she is helpful & knowledgable. I really like her personality! I was telling her a bit about the translational science I am doing to improve patient outcomes and the discoveries & progress I have made. Vanessa was attentive, kind & supportive of woman-led research. What most store employees tend to forget is that when we walk in, we’re not just going to buy some thing, we bring our world with us, our tastes and our travels and then we make decisions on style. I have become an influencer by chance with over 127M views and I love sharing about the people, places & things on Google Maps & my website when I have the time. I took pics and videos of my visit, Ralph Lauren is an American ICON. This store has beautiful merchandise that inspires. Something for every wardrobe, local & world traveler.
