All lululemon locations have strong ties to our local communities.
Let me start first by saying I have stood by these products for years and am a collective member as well. A few weeks ago I had an online pickup for this location - I walk in and present my QR code in the app. Keep in mind this is midday Thursday and I am basically the only one in the store. I am then in addition also asked to present my government id bc it must match the pickup? I looked this up and supposedly you can present either or so Im not sure why this pregnant lady asked me for both. Whatever rules are rules.
Today my fiancée walks in to pickup her order. I mention to her that she would need her ID as she did not have it with her. Seemed like there was also an event was going on as there were 30+ people in the store. She is told to go to the back for pickup, they scan her QR code and let her leave w the item?? This could very well be a misunderstanding as maybe she was not aware of the rules but it feels convenient that on a busy day where she could’ve had anyone’s phone that they did not request the ID as well. Given she’s white and I’m not, this felt like a microaggression and other reviews describe similar experiences at this location, suggesting it’s not a one off. I’d like clarity on how this policy is supposed to work and whether it’s being enforced consistently.

I have visited this location several times. While I have felt subtle microaggressions during past visits, today I witnessed blatant discrimination. From the moment we walked in, employees stared at us intensely, tracking what we touched and selected. In stark contrast, they were incredibly warm and welcoming to white customers. It is deeply disappointing that this behavior still persists. I will never shop at this location again. Lululemon corporate needs to hold this team accountable and ensure their staff reflects inclusive values.

Unfortunately, this was my first and last visit to this store. I noticed that the employee stationed at the front greeted every customer except me. As I was leaving, I asked if she was there to greet customers, and she said yes which made the lack of acknowledgment even more noticeable.
While I was browsing handbags, another employee walked past me to assist a different customer without even acknowledging me. That experience was disappointing, especially given the store’s visible messaging about valuing diversity and inclusion.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures all customers are treated equally.
