  We didn’t see a lot of items that caught our attention, but that’s understandable since inventory at places like this is always changing. I did end up finding and buying a nice candle holder. Unfortunately, the checkout experience left a bad impression. The older lady at the register seemed unhappy that I chose not to round up my total to the next dollar. When her colleague offered to wrap our items, she got grumpy and then told them not to do it. It felt unnecessary and put a damper on the experience. Friendly customer service at checkout makes a big difference, and customers shouldn’t be made to feel uncomfortable for choosing not to round up their purchase.

  I don’t like giving bad ratings but they earned this one. This rating should also save people time to not bring donations here. They think they are running a Pottery Barn here and wont take any donation that is not a high end item. Ive taken doors, sinks, shelves and other items in good shape to be reused and they have not accepted my donations on several occasions. They also do not have a nice tone when they decline your donations. Train management and staff to understand the purpose is to help community and not try to be a fancy store.

  Not a fan of this new "curated" thing they're doing. There is barely anything on the shelves and on the floor. It just looks sparse and depressing. Now I'm in and out in 10 minutes, whereas before I could easily stay an hour.

  Restore has outgrown the people that originally donated and help the company grow and become prosperous. I dropped by to donate some actual antique furniture from my mother in law. I was rudely told that her items were unacceptable to the new Restore. After years of donations Restore has decided to become an upscale and high priced outlet that no longer serves those that are responsible for their success. So...i placed the items on the street in front of my house. They were picked up in 30 minutes and went to people who really needed them. I think that everyone should try this instead of wasting time, gas and muscle loading furniture up just to be turned away. A great alternative to helping restore upper management get rich off our stuff.
