Scheels is such a great company because of people like Nick Hoerr. I went into the Scheels in Great Falls looking to purchase a basketball hoop that they didn’t have in stock. Nick went above and beyond to look through their inventory and find one that could be shipped directly to my house. The price was going to be around $675 with shipping. Nick then suggested that we check price to see if Scheels could price match it. Thanks to his suggestion, I ended up getting the exact same basketball hoop for $373. What really stood out to me wasn’t just saving money, it was the way Nick handled the entire experience. He genuinely wanted to help me get the best deal and made sure I was taken care of. That kind of customer service is becoming harder and harder to find. Nick is an excellent people person, extremely helpful, and a tremendous asset to Scheels. This is exactly the kind of employee who makes people want to come back to a store. I’m very happy with my experience, and I wanted to take the time to recognize Nick because Scheels is great because of people like him.

Oakley sunglasses broke so I went in to ask about warranty on them. A girl came out, not sure of her name, and basically told me I was S.O.L. and I have to get a hold of the Oakley Company for any kind of warranty. She said Scheels doesn't even mess with the warranty at all!! She basically "passed the buck" and said to Google it. I actually use to work there and I got to thinking of how great Scheels usually is with warranties so I asked a friend that use to work there who I should talk to, he said to go talk to Dawn in sunglasses!! Dawn was amazing, super friendly and totally took care of me!! Can't say enough about how great she was. So.....long story a little bit longer, whoever that girl was that told me to go directly to Oakley for warranty, maybe you need to learn a little something about that department and not just tell people to go somewhere else. HUGE THANK YOU TO DAWN in sunglasses though!!
