- LLLizMay 24, 20262.0I am very disappointed with they're service department. I brought my ridding lawnmower to them back in the winter months because it wouldn't start & have them fix it also get it serviced get new blades & belts replaced so come the summer months it would be ready. They called me said it was fixed i went to pick it up guess what it wouldn't start they said I'd have to turn the motor by hand first to get it started Then they said it would cost me at least another $700.00 to do engine work after I just paid them over $400.00 Dollars. I just said forget it took it to my son's shop he adjusted the valves & it fired right up.I finally got it up to our lake house mowed with it twice before the drive belt came off. Looked as if the belts weren't even replaced I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for service. My daughter & I replaced the drive belt ourselves & it runs just fine now wasted time & money Shame on you Murdocks Service department.
