- RRR. R.Sep 5, 20261.0Went to buy an item that was marked $60 on the package (had a 40% off coupon so $36 before taxes). I get to the register and a cashier who was chatting with a coworker comes over, obviously annoyed, grabs my item with no word, scans it and tells me price a different from what it was marked. at the register it was $65 ($39 with the discount before taxes), the cashier rolled their eyes when I asked about the difference in price and very rudely just said "the $60 is pened off because its actually $65" which makes zero sense. I just said okay and then I asked to use rewards account with my phone number, she said she cant with an attitude and I just said okay. She seemed annoyed and then sighed loudly asking me the last 4 of my social (something I dont know off the top of my head) so i tell her and she just got so worked up over that and said "WELL I CANT HELP YOU WITH THE REWARDS CARD I CANT DO NOTHING" and i just "okay" because I had already said okay and didnt even make a deal about not being able to use the rewards with the phone number to still be talked to crazy. After this whole fiasco she decided to do, I didnt even want to give money to a business that conducts their transactions this way. Dont project whatever bad day you're having onto people that are treating you politely and with decency. And please teach your employees to act more professionally. You dont have to have a smile on your face 24/7 but you also shouldnt be rolling your eyes over having to check out a customer.
