It is a very large mall. It is two floors (2 and a half if you count the food court floor). It has many stores and it is a very lively mall. Suprisingly there were many people there around the time we visited even though it was during a week day. Malls usually are very dead now a days (at least the ones near my home town) but this one brought me back to my childhood. Seeing groups of teeneage friends hanging out in the food court or even just seeing people in the stores and shopping bringing the mall to life was a great time. My husband and I were only there for a small amout of time though as he needed some new tennis shoes. The staff at Foot Locker were very nice and accomodating. They helped my husband out and had him try a few options to make sure he got the shoes he wanted, liked and felt most comfortable in. We walked along the mall after and there are many stores to check out. So if you are ever in St. Louis check out the Galleria!

How did I not know they have a nursing/lactation room here (by the food court restrooms)? There are very few places in this city that have one availabletothe public, so leaving a review so other people searching can see this.

The Saint Louis Galleria remains a solid, classic spot for a productive family afternoon—especially if you know how to turn a wait time into a shopping run.
On a recent family outing, we stopped in for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. As expected for a weekend afternoon, the wait was about an hour. However, the mall's footprint and store variety make it easy to kill time without feeling like you're just standing around.
While waiting for our table, we managed to check off a few quick errands and pick up some great finds:
Zales: Dropped in to get my wife’s ring cleaned and inspected. The service was efficient, friendly, and quick enough to leave plenty of time to walk around.
Buckle: Always a reliable stop for denim. The staff was helpful, the store was well-organized, and I was able to walk out with a solid pair of jeans before our table was even ready.
By the time we finished browsing, our hour wait was up—it felt like 15 minutes. Overall, the Galleria is clean, easy to navigate, and still one of the most reliable options in the St. Louis metro area for combining good food and great retail in one stop.
